The company explicitly disclaims all other warranties, both express and implied, regarding any product, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose. In such cases, Hard drive World will not be held accountable for any damages or harm arising from the use of their products or services.
The term "lifetime" in relation to the warranty provided by Hard Drive World refers to the duration of the product's availability on the market. It is important to note that products that become outdated and are no longer being produced are not covered by the lifetime warranty. As a result, the lifetime warranty does not apply to items that have been discontinued and taken off the production line.
Comprehensive Return Guidelines
The following are Hard Drive World's ("Hard Drive World", "we," or "our") Comprehensive Return Guidelines, which are specifically applicable to products purchased directly from the Hard Drive World website. For an individual return policy to be applicable, all returns must adhere to the overall guidelines mentioned below.

Hard drive World allows the return of all products, provided they are new, unopened, and in their original retail packaging. Regardless of the individual return policy, these items can be returned to Hard Drive World within a 30-day timeframe.
Hard Drive World has specific criteria for accepting returns, and the following conditions will render a product ineligible for return and may result in rejection:
- Products not purchased directly from Hard Drive World.
- Products that do not exhibit the described reason for return (e.g., a return initiated for a product claimed as defective on arrival, but functions properly upon inspection).
- Products with missing, damaged, altered, or illegible serial number labels, manufacturer model or part number labels, and/or warranty labels.
- Products returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and any other items initially included. - Products from which the UPC code has been removed from the packaging.
- Products exhibiting physical damage. If your product was received in a damaged state, please refer to our "Report a shipping problem" article for instructions on how to address the issue. This would not be considered a return.
- Products eligible for mail-in rebates.
- Products that appear tampered with, customized, or altered in any manner.

Exclusively International Return Policy
Our Return Policy for Defective or Damaged Products, referred to as our Exclusively International Return Policy, includes the following terms:

- Defective or damaged products that are covered by Hard Drive World’s Exclusively International Return Policy require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number issued by Hard Drive World. It is important to request the RMA number within 15 days from the delivery date for this policy to apply.
- In the event that a product is returned and found to be non-defective, two possibilities exist. First, the product may be returned to the customer. Alternatively, the return shipping cost initially covered by Hard Drive World will be deducted from the refund amount, along with any necessary restocking fee that may apply.
- To initiate a return, we kindly request that you contact Hard Drive World’s customer service via email or live chat. They will provide you with the necessary instructions and support throughout the return process.
- We encourage customers to review the terms and conditions of our Exclusively International Return Policy carefully to ensure compliance with the specified timeframes and requirements. This will facilitate a smooth return experience.
Additional Return Information
Configurator Bundles
Items sold as part of a Configurator Bundle are subject to specific return policies. While individual items within the Configurator Bundle may be eligible for replacement within the applicable Hard Drive World’s Return Policy Period for that particular item, they cannot be returned for a refund.
If you need to replace a specific item from the Configurator Bundle, you can initiate a return within the designated Return Policy Period for that item. Please refer to the Hard Drive World’s Return Policy or contact our customer service for further assistance in processing the replacement.
However, please note that returns for refund are not available for items sold as part of a Configurator Bundle. We recommend carefully reviewing the product specifications and compatibility before making a purchase decision to ensure that the Configurator Bundle meets your requirements.

Combo & Kit Specials
Combo and Kit Specials are promotional offers that include two or more items sold together at a discounted price. To be eligible for the discount, all items in the Combo or Kit must be purchased together.
If you wish to return an individual item from a Combo or Kit, you may do so within the applicable Hard Drive World Return Policy Period for that specific item. The return will be processed based on the return policy of the individual item.
However, please note that if you decide to return an individual item from a Combo or Kit for a refund, the discount applied to the Combo or Kit will be voided. The discounted amount will be deducted from the refund amount accordingly. In cases where the discount amount exceeds the price of the item being returned, a refund for that specific item cannot be issued. To receive a refund in such cases, all items in the Combo or Kit must be returned.
For example, if you received a $5 discount on a Combo or Kit and decide to return one of the items for a refund, the refund amount will be reduced by $5 to account for the voided discount.

Out-of-Stock (Back-Order) Items
In the event that Hard Drive World is unable to provide a replacement for an item that is sent in for replacement, or if the item is out of stock, a refund will be issued. The refund policy depends on the timeframe in which the item is returned.
If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued to you. This means that you will receive the entire amount you paid for the item.
If the item is returned beyond 30 days of the original invoice date, a store credit refund will be issued at the current market value of the product. The current market value is determined by considering the prevailing price of the product in the market. However, it's important to note that the current-market-value refund cannot exceed the original invoice price. This means that the refund amount will be equal to or less than the amount you paid for the item.

Quantity Purchases
We appreciate your interest in purchasing a larger quantity of items from Hard Drive World. However, please note that orders for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item are considered non-refundable once the purchase is completed. This means that once you have placed such an order and it has been processed, refunds or returns for these items will not be accepted, except for specific conditions outlined in the ordered item's return policies.
